14 February 2013 – Happy Valentine Day

Woke up early morning to discover Crabtree & Evelyn set on the dining table. There were also 2 decorative bells with sweets inside. I reminded myself to ask Kwee Yap who sent it to us. My best guess was it was gift from our neighbor…though I really like the gift, I started to wonder why would neighbor gave us such gift. Normally they would give us food but never…body care set though I find it really practical.

After cleaning the house, I left the house to start work after the long CNY break. Fortunately Kwee Yap is still on holiday thus he could take care of the 3 kids. I’m really very grateful to him for taking care of the boys during this time. After watching the Daai drama on Teacher Chen’s story, I reminded myself to appreciate my husband effort and not to take things for granted. Colleagues asked me to join them for dim sum lunch but I declined since I know Kwee Yap and the kids would be here for lunch. Kwee Yap and the kids arrived here around 12.40pm and Sean chose Tony Roma. We had a heavy meal and everyone enjoyed their meal to the fullest.

A funny thing happened. Kwee Yap asked whether I have seen his Valentine present. This question really caused me splitting hairs. I tried to recall what presents I received today….No idea … Kwee Yap asked whether I saw the Crabtree set on the dining table. Haha, at that instant I really couldn’t help laughing as I thought it was present from neighbor. Kwee Yap looked a bit hopeless and said “why would neighbor gave those as presents?”. Sean and Ye chipped in to say “aiya, mummy is like that one loh, blur…”. Haha, I still can’t help laughing whenever I think of this incident. This could be most MCC thing I could do so far. Happy Valentine Day!!! So happy today to see all the kids enjoying their lunch especially Tong, she looked so adorable and so grown up. Told me that I don’t have to carry her around as she is grown up already. I suspected this is because the boys must have reminded her that I had sprained my back recently. Gan En .
