Singapre Trip (17 Nov 08)

After Ern Ye concert in the morning at FRIM, we proceeded to Pedas to take a short break before continuing our journey to Johor.
Reached “Big Sis” house at Impian around dinner time. After a sumptuous dinner, we chatted shortly before taking our beauty sleep. The next morning, Ta Ku sent us to 2nd Sis place in Singapore. Went to science centre with Ze Herng and Ze Rou as well as 2nd sis. Sean really enjoyed this trip as science is his favourite subject. 2nd sis treated us to a sumptuous dinner at Sakura. Went back with cakes made by 2nd sis for both boys. What a sight!
Hong Lurn sent us to the hotel at night. Next morning, after buffet breakfast, we went to Zoo. Fortunate that day weather was fine not rainy unlike the 1st day. Zoo is Ye’s favourite place. Kids had a fun day and they even went to the Kid World for a splash.
It was a rainy day on 3rd day and we had to cut our Bird Park trip short. Went back to Johor by cab and spent a night at Johor before continuing our journey back to Pedas.

Kuala Gandah 24 May 08

Arrive Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary Park late morning, just before lunch. Had simple lunch at Kuala Gandah site. Fortunate enough to grabs some elephant rides ticket for kids.
After kids took their elephant rides, we watched warden bathing the elephants. Visitors were given opportunities to feed the elephants. It was fun! Baskets of fruits were stationed at a few corners for visitors to feed the elephants.
After Elephant Park, we proceeded to nearby deer farm. Did not expect the deer park to be so big and we were allowed to roam freely in the farm. Mingled freely with the deers and allowed to feed the deers. Kids enjoyed themselves and these is our first time being so close to the deers. Left home feeling tired but really satisfied. Had dinner along the way home.

2007 Ye - Kindergarden Year End Performance

This year they had it at Kepong FRIM. Watched Ye danced with his friends and made his speech. He also received a few trophies for winning some writing and telling stories.

Mines and Dinners

Palace of Golden Horses, Dinner at Mines and Father Birthdays

Somehow couldn’t find the photo of the Palace of Golden Horses Hotel. What a sheer waste. Kids were enjoying themselves and had since kept mentioning the visit. Went there with Big Sis family and mother.

At night had dinner at one of the famous Yong Tau Foo restaurant at Serdang which was not faraway. Kids were so excited and only slept after midnight. The next day, Big Sis became our driver and drove us to nearby coffee shop for breakfast.

On Father’s day went for dinner at GoldHill restaurant at Menjalara for dinner.

Langkawi Trip March 2008 (Part 2)

Tried to edit from previous posting but unable to, therefore has to resort to Part 2 of Langkawi Posting. The kids were tired but nevertheless manage to wake up at dawn for the trip. The cab pakcik reached house later but fortunately we are still ahead of time at LCCT. Upon reaching Langkawi airport rent a “new” Wira car for 3 days.

1st thg to do is to top up the petrol .Had a quick breakfast at one of the stall near the beach. After that proceeded to Underwater World near the Cenang beach which happen to be near our hotel. Unfortunately, many species were not there due to recent poisoning but the kids were still hyper. After the trip went to check in to the modest hotel. Hotel is modest but fortunately cleans enough to occupy.

Next stop was at the Cable Car station. It was drizzling then but it’s was almost a hell raising experience for us. The trip was quite an adventure as it was quite steep. We stop by Telaga Harbour to have light tea at The Loft. Its has a breathtaking view facing the Habour.

Dinner at one of the Italian eateries near Cenang Beach. We order pizza, spaghetti and the foods were satisfactory.

2nd day went for island hopping. Went to a few islands namely Beras Terbakar and Dayang Bunting. The boatman even brings us to feed the eagles.

Had lunch and dinner at Kuah Town. Haha, in fact had lunches at the same place on 2nd and 3rd day. Dinner was sumptuous though the crab was so-so.

Went to Eagle Square and Kuah Town for chocolate shopping trip.

That night Ern Ye was sick, must be due to the hectic schedule. Nothing much was done on 3rd day as Ye was sick, so we spend most time on beaches and shopping complex. Thought of catching a movie but nothing great to watch that day so we change our mind.
