Our original plan to depart from home earlier did not materialize. Fortunately, many other staff were in same predicament. We reached Sunway at around 9am just in time for our heavy breakfast. Adults were given nasi lemak with rendang chicken while kids had muffins and sandwiches. There were free flow of coffee and tea. The organizer was thoughtful to include some packet drinks. Sean and Ye joined 3 kid telematches but they emerged as runner-up as their team members comprised of 2 below 3 years old boys. Anyway they did not leave disappointed as they were given some souvenirs. Kwee Yap’s team also emerged as runner-up in adult event.

Very soon after the games we left for some water parks games. We tried most the park games like splash down deck, little Zimbabwe, Congo challenge and Victoria Falls. Soon it was lunch time and we given a box of KFC snack plate each. We were a bit let down by the fact the meat were quite cold. Despite that, Ye still managed to finished 3 piece chicken, haha, he must be famished by then. Sean was not too bad as he managed to eat quite a lot as well. As some staff did not turn up, there were quite a lot of leftovers, so we managed to grab 2 boxes for Pedas.

After lunch, we proceeded to wild life park where we breezed thru animals and insects at the park. Soon we went for amusement park next to it. We had great time trying out butch Cassidy trail, Colorado splash, grand canyon river rapids, buffalo bill coster and wagon wheels. This round I succeeded in overcoming fear of height by attempting pedestrian suspension bridge. It was a personal achievement and really boosted my confidence in view of the oncoming Kinabalu climb.

Since we had to send Sean for his class at 5pm, we did not have sufficient time for the Scream Park which was not part of the package. Before we departed, Kwee Yap bought a picture of the boys as souvenir. It was a worthwhile trip as it was a first for the both the boys and they really has a whale of time. We agreed to come again when we can spend more time and when the boys are taller as they had to give some games a miss this round as they were too short.
