Melaka Wonderland
Started off to Melaka in the afternoon. Had lunch at a small Chinese restaurant as we had late breakfast at KL.
Brought Tong with us this time. I guessed she could sense our excitement and had been a good girl. Sean and Ye were enjoying themselves at the higher level at the Wonderland trying out the more challenging games with Kwee Yap. Tong and I stayed at the pool playing kids games. Tong has been very excited and tried to be very independent. She fell several times and nearly drowned in the pool but that did not deter her from staying in the pool. In between, I managed to feed her , the slightly burned porridge.
After 2 hours at the park, rained started to pour. Tong took a short nap during the rain while we all snacked. When the rained subsided, we headed to Jonker street. That’s a good choice as we managed to see the other side of Melaka and we could view many stalls selling things we don’t get to see on day to day basis. Haha, we all continue our snacking there. After the walk, we proceeded to Makko for nyonya food. Dinner was so so as we ordered non-Nyonya foods but the cendol is sure memorable. Its sure a great night and by the time we headed back to Pedas, all had good memories though Ye commented “ How I wish I could play longer but the rain came too fast”. Anyway, since its nearby, we could visit it again.
