CNY (Eve)
Had lunch at Tse Chew’s place since Chee Shan’s new house is not ready for occupation yet. Mum cooked a storm, haha, we all tucked in to the sumptuous meal. Kids received angpows from Chee Shan, Tse Chew and Big Sis. As usual we distribute angpows later.
Tong slept soundly during our lunch giving us ample time to chit chat. After meal, we left for Pedas. Chee Shan followed us and later parted mid way for Bahau. Had late reunion dinner at Pedas. By the time we reached Pedas, all brothers + families are there, helping out. Weather was so hot and there was no electricity since morning. Fortunately it came back before reunion dinner started. After a hearty meal, we had wine and liquor. Not bad, this year the youngsters have grown up and are helping to finish the liquor. Er Jie came back with her families to join us for the reunion dinner.
Kids played pop pop provided by 4th brother.
CNY (Second Day)
This year we did not take whole Lee family photo as not all are around. Third bro and his family took family photo, after that left for Johor. We went to Pedas temple for new year blessing. After that we dropped by at Tua Ee’s house for a visit. There’s a river behind the house, the kids liked it. In the evening we went to a park at Rembau. Unfortunatley the bridge is off limit to visitors. But other facilities at the park made up for the disappointment. Kids had a whale of time there. Throughout CNY had lots of crackers plus acar made by big sis in law. Top drink for this CNY is ice canned milo. Kids just can't seem to get enough of it. Most unpopular drink goes to 100 Plus. There were boxes of leftover.
CNY(Third day)
We went back to KL to join siblings for father's birthday celebration at Choi Wah restaurant. We had loh sang as well. Restaurant had a roaring business.. It was packed for the night.
