Little Princess - Lee Ern Tong

Little Princess – Lee Ern Tong
Scanning shows baby should be out by 2nd week of April 2009. However, on 2nd week baby was not ready to see the world yet. Later I agreed to be induced on 16 April 2009. Early in the morning, I started to experience labour pains and true enough as though she can sense it, Ern Tong came out on 16 April 2009 afternoon. Phew.. I did not have to go thru induction after all. The labour was a fast one but not without the pain. Ern Tong was the only baby to be delivered by Dr Ong that day and he paid more attention to her compared to the 2 boys. All 3 babies are delivered by him.
Ern Tong weighs 3.5kg, not too bad for a baby girl but smaller in size than Ern Ye who weighed 3.75kg ; bigger than Sean at 3.3kg. Ultimately most important is that all are healthy. She gave a loud yell at the hospital not long after delivered as though she was announcing to everyone that she is out. The 1 month confinement was long and boring, weather was hot and humid most time. Since we could not cope, we are sending her to a day and nite babysitter.

Firefly - Kampung Kuantan

Firefly – Kg Kuantan
Dated : 11 June 2009

Today ,my family and I went for a trip to Kampung Kuantan. We left our house at around 2.30 pm. First we dropped by auntie’s house to visit my dear little sister, Ern Tong. It started to rain by then.
Afterthat, we started our journey to Kampung Kuantan from there. Fortunately rain stopped by then. It took us almost an hour to reached Bukit Malawati, Kuala Selangor. We visited a muzium where they displayed all Malaysian traditional games. We saw games such as gasing, guli, batu seremban, congkak, upih and many others.

We also saw many monkeys at the park. There was a light house on top of the hill but unfortunately we were not allowed in. There were a few canons facing the sea.
Many tourists are seen feeding the monkeys. They bought long beans from the ice-cream vendors. We proceeded for dinner at a seafood restaurant nearby. It was a sumptuous dinner, we had steamed mantis prawns, fried mantis prawns, steamed pomfret and some vegetables. The restaurant is situated on the river which provided us great sun set sight.

Singapre Trip (17 Nov 08)

After Ern Ye concert in the morning at FRIM, we proceeded to Pedas to take a short break before continuing our journey to Johor.
Reached “Big Sis” house at Impian around dinner time. After a sumptuous dinner, we chatted shortly before taking our beauty sleep. The next morning, Ta Ku sent us to 2nd Sis place in Singapore. Went to science centre with Ze Herng and Ze Rou as well as 2nd sis. Sean really enjoyed this trip as science is his favourite subject. 2nd sis treated us to a sumptuous dinner at Sakura. Went back with cakes made by 2nd sis for both boys. What a sight!
Hong Lurn sent us to the hotel at night. Next morning, after buffet breakfast, we went to Zoo. Fortunate that day weather was fine not rainy unlike the 1st day. Zoo is Ye’s favourite place. Kids had a fun day and they even went to the Kid World for a splash.
It was a rainy day on 3rd day and we had to cut our Bird Park trip short. Went back to Johor by cab and spent a night at Johor before continuing our journey back to Pedas.

Kuala Gandah 24 May 08

Arrive Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary Park late morning, just before lunch. Had simple lunch at Kuala Gandah site. Fortunate enough to grabs some elephant rides ticket for kids.
After kids took their elephant rides, we watched warden bathing the elephants. Visitors were given opportunities to feed the elephants. It was fun! Baskets of fruits were stationed at a few corners for visitors to feed the elephants.
After Elephant Park, we proceeded to nearby deer farm. Did not expect the deer park to be so big and we were allowed to roam freely in the farm. Mingled freely with the deers and allowed to feed the deers. Kids enjoyed themselves and these is our first time being so close to the deers. Left home feeling tired but really satisfied. Had dinner along the way home.
